Go on a cruise
Manchester Ship Canal consists of 36 miles of waterways that transformed the city into a major international port during the Industrial Revolution. Today, visitors can take a cruise along the water all the way to Liverpool. Alternatively, catch a boat from Castlefield to Old Trafford and watch a game.
Try the UK’s longest indoor snow slope
The Chill Factor in Trafford boasts a 180m long real snow slope, ideal for family fun. As well as skiing and snowboarding, there’s also Snowscoot, which is a combination of BMX biking and snowboarding, bodyboarding and sledging.
