20 Dec Have a Jolly Good Time at the Manchester Christmas Markets
The holidays are rapidly approaching and the Christmas markets are in full swing throughout Manchester city centre. Once again, the city has transformed into a winter wonderland with German markets selling crafts, hot wine, sausages and gifts, as well as ice skating rinks and rides for young and old.
Many of our favourite stalls are back for another year as well as some exciting new additions. Food lovers will find themselves in heaven with more delicious international treats to try than ever before.
A lovely new addition to this year’s market can be found at the Old London Road Fire Station. Hidden in this historic building you will find an ice skating rink as well as pop-up beer and food stalls. This is a great place to come with friends for a fun and festive night out.
Head to Spinningfields for a rev-ing good time and take a ride in the bumper cars. Still after more adventure? Next to the Cathedral you will also find the ferris wheel and helter skelter.
The markets are open every day from 10am until varying times during the evening. Don’t miss out – the markets will be around until 20 December.
