That spooky time of the year has crept up on us again and from seriously scary to timid and tame, there’s a Halloween event taking place in Manchester for everyone.

Halloween in the City returns to Manchester this month, bringing a trick or treat trail, petrifying parades and ghostly gatherings. As well as thousands of pumpkin lanterns, famous landmarks around Manchester will also be lit up green. Plus, look out for the Ghost World Record Attempt! On October 27 and 28, the main stage in Exchange Square will host family DJs, short films, and more haunted fun.

This Halloween, Blackpool welcomes Vampire Pleasure Beach with fun for all the family. For older kids, there’s a drive-in cinema screening three horror classics, and for younger children, the Creepy Hollow promises an interactive experience with real-life animals, such as giant snails, cockroaches, and snakes. The Pleasure Beach will also come alive with zombies, vampires, and goblins but will you be able to find your way out of the spooky maze?
