01 Mar High Spec Offices coming to No.1 Spinningfields
Progress is underway on the new Allied London development in central Manchester at No.1 Spinningfields. This £73 million project is due to be completed by 2017 and will bring some of the UK’s highest spec offices to the city. The glass skyscraper has been designed by SimpsonHaugh and Partners who are behind other buildings such as Beetham Tower, Urbis and Shudehill Interchange.
The BAM 117m crane is currently clearly visible in the Manchester skyline as work continues on the site. The 24 storey building is expected to be the new home of many prestigious businesses with the lower floors dedicated to retail and hospitality. No.1 Spinningfields will bring even more business into the central Manchester and will add additional life and commerce to this area.

It’s central location means it offers easy access to all of the city’s services, shops and restaurants for both office workers and residents. The area boasts some of Manchester’s best restaurants and cocktail bars including Manchester House, the Alchemist and the regularly rotating food offers at the Kitchens. It is close to Victoria and Salford train stations and has fantastic views of the River Irwell.
