11 Jan High rise developments for Water Street

Construction is underway on a new residential development on Water Street. Architectural firm, Hodder + Partners has been working with LQ Developments to design four linked apartment blocks situated next to the River Irwell. The entire complex will comprise over 307 new homes, including approximately 6 town houses. The tallest of the apartment blocks reaching 26 storeys.

The development’s location on Regent Street sits at the gateway to Manchester city centre and offers views over the river. It is placed on the edge of the desirable Castlefield area and has excellent access to Salford and the M57.

Hodder + Partners are well known for their skyscraper developments as they were the team behind the Student Castle on Oxford Road.

The development isn’t expected to reach completion until mid to late 2017.
